SMCRAC Logo Usage Policy

The Saint Martin's Centre for Research & Accreditation Commission (SMCRAC) logo is an official visual identity representing the organization's values, credibility, and global academic standing. The logo is legally protected and must be used in accordance with the following guidelines.

Ownership of the Logo:

The SMCRAC logo is the exclusive intellectual property of Saint Martin's Centre for Research & Accreditation Commission (SMCRAC). All rights are reserved. Any reproduction or use of the logo without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Authorized Use:

The SMCRAC logo may be used only by:

  • Official SMCRAC Chapters (Australia, United States of America, India, and other approved regions)
  • Award recipients, fellows, and honorees of SMCRAC
  • Accredited institutions, research bodies, and academic partners approved by SMCRAC
  • Organizers of SMCRAC-approved conferences, seminars, FDPs, workshops, and academic events

Authorized use includes:

  • Official certificates, awards, medals, and citations
  • SMCRAC approved websites, brochures, banners, and event materials
  • Academic and professional profiles after formal recognition by SMCRAC

Restrictions on Use:

The SMCRAC logo must not be used:

  • For commercial marketing, advertising, or financial solicitation
  • To imply accreditation, endorsement, or affiliation not explicitly granted by SMCRAC
  • In political, religious, or controversial activities
  • In misleading, defamatory, or unethical contexts
  • By individuals or institutions whose association with SMCRAC has expired, been terminated, or revoked

Design and Display Standards:

To maintain brand integrity:

  • The logo must be displayed only in its original form, colors, and proportions
  • No modification, distortion, rotation, recoloring, or redesign is permitted
  • Adequate clear space must be maintained around the logo
  • The logo must not be placed on cluttered or low-contrast backgrounds
  • The logo may not be used as part of another logo or design mark

Digital Usage Guidelines:

  • The logo must appear in high resolution on websites and digital platforms
  • Where possible, the logo should link to the official SMCRAC website
  • The logo must not be used as a watermark or background image without prior approval
  • Use of the logo on social media is permitted only for official announcements and recognitions

Duration of Permission:

Permission to use the SMCRAC logo is valid only for the period of active and approved association. Upon completion, expiry, or withdrawal of recognition, all logo usage must be discontinued immediately.

Monitoring and Compliance:

SMCRAC reserves the right to:

  • Review and monitor all logo usage
  • Request corrections or removal of improper usage
  • Suspend or revoke permission without prior notice in case of misuse

Unauthorized use may lead to legal action under applicable intellectual property and trademark laws.

Disclaimer:

Use of the SMCRAC logo does not confer:

  • Degree-awarding authority
  • Statutory accreditation status
  • Governmental or regulatory approval

Unless explicitly stated in official SMCRAC documentation.

Permission Requests:

Requests for logo usage approval should include:

  • Purpose of use
  • Platform or medium (website, print, digital, event)
  • Duration of use
  • Sample design or webpage link (if applicable)

All logo usage requests shall be submitted exclusively to the SMCRAC Head Office for official review and authorization.
